State of the Hack webinar next week

Next Thursday, March 5, we’ll be presenting a webinar about some of the recent credit card data thefts, how they happen and what you can do about them.

MANDIANT has helped many of our customers – from retailers through acquiring and issuing banks – investigate theft of cardholder data, as well as theft of real cash money.

In this webinar, we’ll talk about some of the cases we’ve worked in the last year and a half. We’ll identify the most interesting attack vectors, activities and evil tools used by the perps. We’ll also discuss investigative tools and techniques, plus remediation and proactive steps you can take to secure your own environment.

Plus, we’ll identify some interesting trends and parallels to other information security attacks that have been in the news lately. Sure, you’ve heard of TJX and Hannaford and Heartland.
